Coach Aleksandr Volkov is our lead Foil coach and joined May 2025. He is an accomplished international competitor and coach, including multiple-time champion of Ukraine (1997 – 04); top 16 Junior Olympic Champion (1998); and Bronze medalist at NAC (2024). He has coached multiple NAC gold medalists, as well as gold and silver medalists in regionals (2023-25). On the international stage, he coached the Bronze medalist in the Canadian Senior Championship, Bronze medalist in Jr., and top 16 in the Junior World Cup (2024).
